This is Greeley whom we adopted from the shelter in February 2006. He was already about 2 years old and a really sweet kitty. He immediately endeared himself to us. But with his lively curiosity, it was bound to happen that he would one day slip out of the house and wander , refusing to hear our call. That is what happened on Father's Day 2008 when our little Makinsey spent the weekend and went out to play, leaving the door open. We have not seen Greeley since, even though we posted reports in the lost and found at the Shelter, on bulletin boards, and on posters in the neighborhood. It is November at this posting, and my heart still breaks for this loveable little cat. Greeley we still miss you. We never got to say goodbye. . . . :*(
